The main objective of this course is to deliver the theoretical, genealogical and epistemological foundations of Clinical Social Work, focusing on two perspectives of practice, the narrative and the anti-oppressive. The centrality of the course is aimed at creating a therapeutic identity in the social worker from a critical and relational perspective, recovering their disciplinary history, and with the intention of training some basic tools of clinical praxis of who provides individual care, family or collective. This course is a possibility of translating new approaches to Social Work for professional practice in contexts of mental health and psychosocial programs.
